black colored (coated steel) boot lace hooks.  These have a post like a tubular rivet for setting.  The manufacturer recommends a die and press for these (pictured in photo 2 and not included in this listing).  I imagine you could set them using a tubular rivet setter. Buy as many as you like and save on shipping.
The manufacturer recommends using a setter system to set these.  They are difficult to set without it, some customers have told me they have rigged a tubular rivet setter to do the trick. I can get this tool special order for 0 if you want one.
These are used in combination with lace to make speedy closures on boots, camp equipment or whatever else your heart desires.
