Hand blown Hutchinson soda bottle embossed GEO. HUTAFF, WILMINGTON, N.C. in slug plate and REGISTERED THIS BOTTLE NEVER SOLD on the front base---Bottle identified in HUTCHBOOK as NC-0060 and is rated SCARCE---It has some cosmetic issues---First, there is a round 1/4 inch chip locate below "NE" in NEVER TO BE SOLD---Second, there is a 1 inch wide by 1 and 3/4 inch tall bruise on the back which is located inside the bottle---Third, there is a 2 1/2 "smile type" bruise on the back also located on the inside of the bottle---Both bruises are smooth to the touch from outside of the bottle---Mr.Hutaff was the initial bottler of Coca-Cola in Wilmington in 1903---This is a dug bottle and as with any bottle this age conditions can exist, such as stain/film, bubbles, bruises and scratches/scuffs---The embossing is sharp---U.S. SHIPPING ONLY---PLEASE if you cannot make payment within 3 days of the end of the auction DO NOT BID---Thanks for looking at my auction!!
