This is a
Normally Closed
switch located near the left-hand-side of the stove and mounted directly on the sheet metal Air Jacket. Under normal operating conditions the Air jacket temperature should be below 250ºF and keeps the High Limit disc contacts closed (NC).
During extreme operating conditions where temperatures exceed the limit, the switch will stop
the power to the Auger Motor and shut down the fuel feed system. The auger will not operate until the switch has been manually reset.
