For your consideration: an Andrews Johnston & Co. (partnership) green pony soda blob bottle from Philadelphia, PA. This was blown in green glass batch into a two-part private mold and finished with an applied blob lip in the early 1860's. It was recovered from a Philadelphia privy excavation in the last year. It is in very good condition with no damage at all. Very light use or ground wear, with only some patchy interior haze. This would clean up very well. Structurally perfect and displays well. Above " Andrews " is embossed a six-pointed star motif. Some nice ling stretchy bubbles in the neck. Crisp embossing in general. It measures: 7 3/16"
