    Description

    Antique 1800's Ross's Royal Belfast
    Torpedo Soda Bottle
This antique Torpedo soda bottle is a product from Ross's Royal Soda company from the 1800's in Belfast, Ireland.
Ross's used to make a line of table waters, starting out with ginger-ale and then leading to cola or other soft drinks.
Used for ginger ale and soda waters.
The rounded bottom ensured the liquid stayed in contact with the wired cork so as not to evaporate or loose carbonation.
Made of hand blown glass measuring 9 1/2 inches it is a nice addition to a collection or a start to one.
