Antique c1900 Government Indian School Tomah Wisconsin Souvenir China Cup Saucer

I have up for sale a rare piece of history , its a circa 1900 Souvenir Gift from the Tomah Cash Mercantile Co - Tomah , Wisconsin  Souvenir Cup & Saucer with a depiction of the Government ran Indian School in Tomah, Wis.   The bottom is marked C.M.R. & Co  made in Germany for the Tomah Cash Merc. Co - Tomah, Wis.      The Tomah Cash Mercantile Company opened in 1900 and I believe that this was item as part of their Grand Opening souvenir items for customers.
The cup and saucer are both in very good condition with no damages. There is some gold trim wear and loss.  I believe this to be the original matching saucer but can not be positive. It has a very similar embossed pattern but with some slight variation which is not uncommon for this type of item.

Here is a little history on the Tomah Indian School.
Opened in 1893, the Tomah Indian Industrial School was intended to teach Indian children how to shed their cultural background and to become more like white, middle-class Americans. Funded primarily by the federal government, Indian boarding schools were established throughout the United States in an attempt to acculturate Indians to "American" ways of thinking and living. Only by removing Indian children from their homes for extended periods of time, could white "civilization" take root and childhood memories of Indian culture fade to the point of extinction. The children's time was carefully monitored, with boys receiving instruction in agriculture or trade and girls in the domestic arts.

IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED  -CONTACT ME ASAP -  KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM.  YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , YOU WOULD NEED PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND PICS OF THE DAMAGED ITEM. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL. I hold the right to ship in an alternative method of shipping if I deem it more safe because of the items fragility , issues due to size, etc.
