ANTIQUE SODA BOTTLE FROM 1896

Description

Up for sale is a very interesting antique 7 oz. soda bottle that is about 125 years old. according to information I have found, see the second scan for this item. It is a Hutchinson Soda Bottle from the Failing & Wagner soda company in Chicago from 1896. The were located at 914-916 W. 53rd Street. It was produced by the Illinois Glass Co. and has embossed lettering in the glass, see #2 scan. Also on the back bottom is has I.G.C.O. embossed, which tells you it was made by the Illinois Glass Co. I am not a dealer just a very old retired collector who is trying to make my wife happy by selling off my duplicate or unwanted items to clear out a space for her in the den.
