ANTIQUE "HARMONY CLUB J. GROSSMAN'S & SONS" WOODEN WHISKEY BOX NEW ORLEANS 1915

Description

It is 12 1/4" x 14 1/2" x 19 1/4".  As found in an old store attic in Chackbay, La. about 40+ years ago.  Other than brushing and washing of the dust, nothing has been done to it.  The box is in very good condition except for a split in the bottom boards.  The "High Grade Whiskey Brand" in red color is weak.  This is a machine dove-tailed box that, also, has some nails.  There is other wear and stain.  When the box is wet, the colors are much bolder.  It is the only one I have seen like this.  The box weighs 8 lbs.
