Authentic Genuine Wild Turkey Bourbon Whiskey Oak Barrel Head Top Lid With Distillery Stamp. All pieces of this lid are currently still together. You have to remember what these barrels are used for and understand that nails and glue are not used in the barrels for fear of contaminating the product inside. If for any reason these lids come apart and most of the time they do they will, they easily fit back together. For displaying purposes most people will do one of two things, they will glue the pieces together or they will cut a quarter inch piece of plywood, old paneling, etc. and glue the pieces to that or nail or screw from the backside into the oak pieces. Please take a look at all pictures for a better understanding of the condition of this lid. The third picture is of the backside of the lid shows where the whiskey charred the wood. These lids measures approximately 21 1/2” across.
Great for clocks, mirrors, paintings, Lazy Susan, Shelves, signs. Cutting boards, calendars and much more. A good friend told me that he knows of folks that have took these and chipped them up for smokers. Sounds like a really good idea Oak wood saturated in bourbon. It’s got to give a great taste.
