It covers the period of 1900-1970s with heavy emphasis on the early years with MANY personal memoirs from residents. There are TONS of historic photographs here! The town was known for it's asparagus and strawberries and trolleys through the streets. Lots of immigrant groups settled here to include those from Canada, Norway, Ireland, and Italy.
