Covered Sugar Bowl Everglade Green Wave Restaurant Ware Shenango China Vintage

Description

This vintage Shenango China covered sugar bowl dates between the period of 1954 to 1963.  A popular design used in restaurants, hotels and now as a collectible retro kitchen item.
The sugar bowl features a dark green wave against a pure white background.  The lid is pure white with a small knob to assist in lifting the cover from the bowl.   A charming bowl to hold sugar, sugar cubes or packets of sugar.
The bottom of the sugar bowl is stamped 'Shenango China - New Castle, PA USA - Rimrol Welroc - J17.
Size:  4” diameter by 4 1/2” high with lid on

Pattern:  We 'think' this is called Everglade Green Wave
Condition:  Very good vintage pre-owned condition.  No chips or utensil wear.  Colors nice and vivid.  The only issue we found are two small surface cracks on the lid (do not go through) that only add charm to this retro restaurant ware sugar bowl.
