I would not buy and won't sell any Boot Hooks that are not made with the WRAPAROUND METAL FLATTENED ENDS!!! The Wrap-around design gives them lasting strength and the flat ends make them easy to go through your Boot straps. I have been riding horses in competition my whole life and know this from the experience of having a handle bust. If the ends are not flat, you will most likely have to manually reach down to get them through the bootstraps.
