Very high quality 4 inches long dutch door surface bolt. Solid brass base material with plated finishes on top. Surface mounts to dutch door configuration. Provides easy positive latching of doors. Holds its position. Practical, rugged, attractive bolt for application on dutch doors as well as other areas. Chamfered rod end draws the two leaves of door tightly together. Sufficient tolerance provided in strike opening to allow for misalignment of door leaves and also prevents binding of bolt. Includes both standard and mortise strikes. NON-HANDED, may be installed on either left or right hand opening doors. Security note: It is important that
both
