    Here is an extremely rare iron pontiled, taper top soda bottle from St. Louis standing just under 7.5 inches tall.  It is embossed GH TIMMERMANN & H. GRONE on the front......SUPERIOR SODA WATER ST LOUIS on the back side.  It has a deep conical kick up iron pontil scar although no iron remains.  The bottle has case wear and haze but no major damage.  It could be tumbled to a much nicer luster if desired.  This company was only in business in 1853.  Buyer to pay FREE SHIPPING, more internationally or elsewhere.
