This auction lot consist of seven (7) identical unused STERLING POINT OYSTER cups from the old restaurant "TEDDY'S- THE HOUSE OF SEA FOOD NEW YORK,NEW YORK.
I purchased a short stack of unused cups years ago from a gentleman that worked there as a young man decades ago. The cups are wax coated paper with all the advertising in dark blue ink. They are damage free. They were never used. Perfect for display. They will blend right in with a collection of New York collectables or a collection of Oyster related items, such as tins & jars. The height of each is only 3-1/4". The cups were also produced locally by LILY-TULIP CUP CORPORATION NEW YORK,NEW YORK. The magic of the big apple!
Some of the pictures only show six cups. I was only going to offer 6 in the lot but will include all seven! There cannot be many of these out there, due to the fact that they are paper. The vast majority would have been disposed of right after consumption unlike metal tins or glass pails with screw on lids and handles.
