Nice aqua colored Hutchinson bottle, GEO. P. DOUGHRTY / KANSAS CITY / U.SA., in a triangle. For reference, it’s Hutchbook #MO0112, listed as R (Rare). In Johnnie Fletcher’s Missouri bottle book, it’s shown as #1290, listed as S+ (Scarce Plus). Bottle has NOT been tumbled. No cleaning other than rinsing the dirt out.
There is a bruise on the front, near the base, straight under the TY in CITY, in the solid part of the front of the base. There is a close up picture of the bruise, that I would say is about 7/16” to a 1/2” in size, but the glass is all there. There is also a much smaller bruise on the top, hard to find, but is there. It’s the shiny spot in the picture looking down from the top. There is a large D on the base. Other than the bruises, there are no other chips, cracks or flakes. Bottle displays very well, see main picture, but I want to be extremely accurate in describing this bottle. Please look closely at all the pictures, and feel free to ask me any questions.
