*Up for sale here is a nice pair of early hand blown crown top soda bottles, from the historic Adams county city of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Both bottles are sparkling clean, and have seen barely any wear. The darker aqua one with the slug plate has a couple of lip chips, see pictures. And the lighter aqua version, with no slug plate is excellent and near mint. The slug plate on darker aqua example is cocked some to the left.
*Both bottles are nicely embossed ~ "GETTYSBURG BOTTLERY / G / GETTYSBURG, PA." The slug plated one to the left is in a rich blue aqua color, and the other to the right is in an icy aqua shade. Both the bottles have a large "G" on their bases. With the blue aqua one having the number "94" below the "G". The blue aqua version with the slug plate measures 7 3/4 inches tall, and 2 3/8 inches in diameter. The other private mold example measures 7 1/2 inches, by 2 3/8 inches in diameter. You will be pleased with this pair, from this very historic place in eastern Pennsylvania.
