Today I am offering one of Haui's most desirable print designs,  original printed in 1931.

Title: Rainy season at Ryoshimachi, Shinagawa
Publisher: Shozaburo Watanabe
Date: Originally published in 1931. This is a lifetime edition published from the original blocks by Watanabe, between 1947 and 1957. I would say this an earlier printing, due to the richness of the colors and sharpness of the impression lines.
Seals: 6mm watanabe J seal, located on the lower right front.
Signatures:  YES! Hasui Kawase signed on the lower left front.
Measurements:  Large Oban print with deckled edges (as publushed by Watanabe) approx 15.5" X 10.5" (the deckled edges make the measurements minimally variable).
Condition: There are no damages or after printing condition issues to note for this print. This print was never framed, and it is in overall fine condition. Margins are fully intact. There is a small drying hole in the upper left margin and some of the printing ink on the bottom right margin corner. Both are from the printing process and not damage.
