    This book was written by Rachel M. Hartley and published by Shoe String Press in 1959, this is the 2nd Edition.  This hardcover is 9-¼” high by 6-¼” wide, it has 506 pages + 38 pages of illustrations, there is a fold-out map, a bibliography, appendix and index.
    This book is in VG condition, there is a previous owner’s name and a small note on the front free-endpaper, there is a corner crease on a few pages, otherwise it is a nice, clean copy.  The heavy clear plastic Dust Jacket has a large tear on the back panel and some loss at bottom of spine.
