To ensure the proper fit, using the bottom of the foot, measure the width of your horse's hoof (as seen in the picture) from left to right.
Hoofie Size = 4 1/2" to 6" wide.
How long can I keep the Hoofies on my horse?
It is recommended not to leave Hoofies on for longer than 8-12 hours at a time.
How many Hoofies come in a set?
4. One for each foot.
It mentions using a sanding sponge when applying. What is that?
A sanding sponge (AKA Sanding Block) is an easy to use, light weight and flexible sponge that comes in varying degrees of abrasiveness. Just like sandpaper, you want to look for a medium to course grit for lightly sanding your horse's hooves. They are more flexible than rigid sanding blocks and can be rinsed and reused when you are finished. You can find them at almost any hardware store.
Why shouldn't I touch the hoof after applying the rubbing alcohol?
Touching the hoof wall after the Rubbing Alcohol dries will run the risk of you reapplying oils from your skin onto the hoof. This could cause the Hoofie to not adhere as well as it could.
