Houston Bottling Texas TX Crown Top Soda Bottle 1905 Alexander Feldman Damaged

Description

Here we have an aqua blown in mold/tooled lip bottle embossed on the front “Houston Bottling Co./Incorporated/Houston, Texas” and embossed on the base with a large “F”.
Bottle is 9-1/2” tall and 2-1/4” in diameter and is in poor condition with internal and external haze, a small bruise on the front, and a large flake/chip and bruise on the base of the bottle but no other chips, cracks, or other damage.
This is the last example I have of these.  This still displays well.
Alexander Feldman ran the Huston Bottling Co. at 2315 Congress Avenue in Houston.
He called himself the “soda water man” and claimed to be superior to any bottling works in the south.
His advertisements typically had a portrait of him with a big mustache and a hat…seems to have been quite the character!
