About “Okamura Kichiemon
”
Okamura Kichiemon (1916-2002) was a dyeing and weaving artist and folk art activist. He traveled extensively throughout Japan, mainly in mainland China, Okinawa, and Hokkaido, researching local folk customs and crafts, and applying the results to his creative activities.
Condition: There is a light stain on the title paper of the book case and a partial insect hole on the back of the case. The illustrations are in good overall condition with a few minute holes.
