Description
This is an original Japanese mid-Showa Era (c. 1950's) guaranteed originalukiyoe
(wood block print) titled
The Maple Trees of the Hiyoshi Shrine at Shiga in the Fall
by the Japanese artist
Tomikichiro Tokuriki
(1902 - 1999).
The artist's seal and signature is present on the lower right side of the image (see picture 3).
It was published as a set of ten views of Japan by the Uchida Woodblock Printing Company in 1950.
The print is "oban" sized and measures roughly 9 3/4" x 11" (24 / 28 cm) Overall in
very fine condition
with deep rich colors. T
