Kensington Stafforshire Ironstone Balmoral England 1801 Cup & Saucer Plates GC
Condition: Like New - Great Condition
Vintage 1801 Blue & White (eggshell) "Balmoral" English ironstone cups and saucers in a set of 1 cup (8 ounces) and 4 saucers, a rare find. The Balmoral pattern includes a scroll border with a beaded edge and floral. The pieces are bright and have a great shine; there is crazing throughout - only adding character. The saucers have a raised center allowing the cups to hold in place without sliding. Each cup is marked "Made in England", the saucers are stamped "Kensington", "Ironstone", "England", "Balmoral", "1801". A lovely set for entertaining.
The the cup and saucer together measure 6.25ʺW × 6.25ʺD × 3.4ʺ.  The cup alone measures 4" wide x 3.2" deep x 3" high.
