    As historians and
    collectors know "the Krim" was very significant in the struggle against Stalin's Communist Red Army. It was one of the few
    occasions were a uniform sleeve shield was issued to German forces who survived the engagement. German veterans of
    "Luftflotte 4" also had a chance to receive this book.
    This item is an excellent pictorial memento of this campaign, with 230 images... both in photo pictures and drawn illustrations.
    This includes of the Crimean landscape. The book starts with the history of the region, then images of the native people and
    lands, then finally the WWII conflict showing both German Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe photos.
