The book contains 116 pages and measures about 8.75" by 5.75". This books contains historical comic drawings of the making of Nebraska by county. This item is in very good condition considering it is 80 years old. This soft cover book is a compilation of drawings by Mike Parks, an Omaha artist, prepared especially for and published by the Omaha World-Herald....this early Nebraska picture history presents a review of interesting events and facts connected with each of the states' 93 counties. Interestingly, this project was a product of his daughters education as Mike Parks became interested in early Nebraska and conceived the idea of a picture history book while helping his daughter with her grade school history.
