To calculate the inch/pound (Torque) requirements for your lid:
Measure the depth of your lid (front to back) in inches
Multiply 1/2 the depth measurement (in inches) times the lid weight (in pounds)
If you use two lids supports on one lid, the combined inch/lbs rating of the two supports should equal the inch/lbs calculation for your lid
Example: Lid depth is 24" and weighs 14 lbs: (24 / 2) x 14 = 168
This example requires two supports. The combined rating for two of these supports is 130-190 inch lbs
