    Description

    This soft cover booklet in English covers the development of a replacement for the PzKpfw IV medium German tank.  The development became urgent when the German tanks during the Russian campaign encountered Russian tanks KV-1 and T-34.   The booklet covers: the original Panther design plus any later upgrades, also the Jagdpanther and Bergepanther (recovery vehicle).     The book has 50 glossy pages with photographs and illustrations that provide an impression of the tank's strength.
    The size of the booklet is approximate length 11 x height 8 1/4 x wide 1/8 inches.
