    Philadelphia - Lot of 2 TWITCHELL Stoneware Mead Bottles
    This auction is for 2 large and heavy, quart-sized, stoneware mead bottles from during or just after the Civil War, from Philly. Both are similarly debossed, but one is undamaged and one has a lip chip. The lot includes:

    shades of beige
    Condition:
    one is near mint with only a few spots of roughness around the base. The other has and old 3/4" chip off the top starting at the lip.
