On some, one side of the mesh is permanently curled on the bottom. On others, the mesh is ripped and needs to be re-secured to flask. Due to multiple quantity, the mesh color will vary. The vacuum lab-grade standard dewar is manufactured for efficient use with liquid nitrogen (LN2) and other liquid gases. Dewar vacuum flasks are made of double-walled borosilicate glass, fully silvered, evacuated to 10-5 and covered by a protective mesh. Evacuation tips and flask bottoms are fully coated and enclosed in an aluminum base.
