Description
General - American 1880S Era Half-Pint Stoneware/Pottery/Clay Soda Water. Hand thrown, free form on a potters wheel. Joseph Wolf was a Soda Water bottler (1877-1889) located at 759 Water Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Stamping - "JOS. WOLF", in arch form, then "MILWAUKEE, WIS.", in reverse arch form. A fancy wings motif is centered between debossing. All inside a oval shaped Stamp.
Pottery Works - Unknown.
Color - Yellow over Gray.
Size - 7-5/8" Tall and 2-3/4" at the base.
Circa - Approx. 1885
Age - Approx. 134 years old.
