Copper proofing parrot made in the USA with lead free, food grade solder.  This robust parrot is shipped with all of the joints soldered and tested.  The only assembly required is inserting the base of the main tube into the provided base.  The 1 1/2 inch funnel will easily contain the liquid coming out of your condenser.  Pipe sizes have been selected to minimize the amount of product in the parrot making the readings on your hydrometer more accurate and real time.   The main tube is 3/4 inch and will accept most Proof and Tralle hydrometers.  Alcohol content is measured by reading the hydrometer value at the top of the main tube. The outlet tube is angled at 45 degrees to ensure a predictable flow of distillate into your container.  The height of the outlet tube is designed for a quart mason jar (not included), but will work with other containers up to a half gallon mason jar.
