    I did some research on this bottle.  In 1888 Elmer Horton went into business with William Richardson in Newark, New Jersey selling mineral and soda waters.  The bottles were blown into a hinged mold causing the seam on either side of the bottle.  Their company owned the bottles so customers were not allowed to keep them.  "Bottle Fetchers" collected the used bottles and returned them to the company to be washed and reused.  The partnership was dissolved between 1898 and 1900.
    This bottle is very rare and in very nice condition!
