    Description

    Rare R THORNTON & SON, HUDSON, NY, T&S, 1867 cobalt blue squat soda bottle.  These are tough to find in aqua, but even a tougher find in cobalt blue.  This one was dug, and has light interior haze and minor overall wear, as well as a pinhead sized lip flake (barely noticeable) and four base chips.  The biggest is a shallow 1/2" x 1/4" base chip, the other two are much smaller and look more like wear from re-use.  Displays nice; a light tumble would produce a spectacular example.  Fresh to market from old time collection.
