    Description

    Two Years of Work on German Highways
    This very heavily illustrated book records the evolution of the world’s first freeway system,
    from concept to reality in the second year of its construction.
    The text and maps explain the construction standards very well, especially bridges for the Autobahn.
    The following routes are explained and depicted:
    Frankfurt-Mannhheim; Stuttgart-Ulm; München-Landesgrenze; Halle-Schleiz-Bayreuth;
    Dresden-Chemnitz; Bremen-Hamburg-Lübeck; Hannover-Berlin; Berlin-Stettin
    The last chapter is about the workers housing area,
    technical details and the picture of the finished Reichsautobahn.
    This is the rarest volume of a series of 4 books about the German Autobahn,
    with only one edition ever published, running from 1,000 - 8,000 thousand!
