    *Up for sale here is a very scarce hutchinson soda bottle, from the steel mill river town of Duquesne, Pennsylvania. This bottle is in a pale aqua shade. Bottle should date into the 1890's era. This hutch is in near perfect shape, and has seen some light wear and patchy haze areas. A light tumbling would help. There is a minor flash crack in the lip area, which favors the back. Hard to see, unless held at a certain angle. See all pictures. Bottle displays near perfect, despite this.
    *It is crudely embossed within a circle slug, as it reads ~ "S & K JONES / DUQUESNE, PA." On the base it has the very bold "K" initial. Then on the left lower front heel it carries the "D.O.C. 22", Pittsburgh glass house initials. On the back side it boldly reads ~ "This Bottle / Not To / Be Sold".
    This shorter example measures 6 1/2 inches tall, and 2 3/8 inches in diameter. You will be well pleased with this vintage piece of soda pop bottling history, from southwestern Pennsylvania.
