Here is a Top Shelf example of a Great looking Blue Colored Blob top Soda bottle from Northern Illinois. This one is from Streator Illinois, located in Lasalle and Livingston Counties. It is either a STRONG Cornflower Blue or a Lighter shade if Cobalt. It has Strong, Bold and unworn embossing that reads "J.A. FINKLER STREATOR, ILL. " The rear heel has the Glass maker A.& D H.C. and the base has JAF. The bottle has Excellent Color and is Sparkling Clean. There are No Chips, Cracks, Bruises or other problems. It was lightly tumbled at one time just to remove some light residue. This bottle was a Product of John Finkler who started his bottling operation in 1868 for a short time into the early 1870's. One of several bottles with the Finkler name as this bottling Family has bottles from Lasalle, Peoria, Dixon, Ottawa, etc. This is one of the Better bottles with this name for sure.
