There are a couple of small maps but the book is a well documented account of the ferocious battle when Nazi paratroopers descended upon the Island of Crete in 1941. The invaders were met by stiff resistance from military and civilians alike and they came very close to losing the air invasion. A great story about the beginning of the end of Hitler's war.
