1. Effective cleaning
Vinyl banners are highly durable and tuff. The high quality vinyl banners used in movie campaigns can last a long time without any problem.
The vinyl material and inks used in banner manufacturing is washable so cleaning your banner is very simple.
For lightly soiled conditions simply wipe the banner with a soft cloth soaked in clear water, then dry using a clean soft cloth.
For heavier soiled conditions mild detergent or liquid hand soap can be added to the water.
Wash using the detergent, then rinse with clear water.
Afterwards dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
(Note:
harsh detergents
can damage
the vinyl banners
).
2. Proper Storage
Vinyl banners are highly durable and therefore are widely used in promotional campaigns with a long time line.
Proper storage of vinyl banners for future use is necessary.
When it comes to storage of the vinyl banners,
the most important aspect to be noted is
not
to fold them.
Instead roll the vinyl banner onto a tube for storage.
While rolling the vinyl banners make sure that the printings are faced outwards.
Then store in a box. The packaging you received your banner in is perfect for storage.
Store the banner in a dry place, out of direct sun and away from heating vents.
Your garage or attic is perfectly acceptable
3. Removing Creases from the Banner Sign
When reusing the banner, you may find some creases in them due to storage conditions.
Removing the creases from the vinyl banners is very easy.
You can simply lay the banner out flat in the sun or use a hair dryer to gently heat the vinyl material.
Another method is to use a household clothing iron and heavy wet cloth.
Lay the banner on a flat surface like an ironing board. Place a heavy cloth soaked in clear water over the banner.
Then use the iron set to medium heat to gently create steam and flatten out the banner.
Please Note:
·
Proper care should be taken that the iron does
not
make any direct contact with the banner - permanent damage will result.
·
Test one of the above methods in an inconspicuous place before using on the whole banner.
·
The above info is a guideline only. Movieposterama is not responsible for any damage due to improper use.

WE TAKE EXTRA SPECIAL CARE WHEN WE PACKAGE YOUR ITEMS
Folded posters, Stills and other flat items are placed in a plastic bag or envelope
and in between pieces of cardboard and taped together before being placed in the package.
Rolled posters are put into a plastic sleeve and then placed in a heavy tube.
We roll the poster into a smaller diameter than the tube.
This is VERY IMPORTANT because it gives the edges strength and helps to prevent them from getting wrinkled.
We add soft cushioning material (also very important!) on the ends to prevent them from getting damaged
