    Description

    You are bidding on:
A vintage pair of Jockey Lifts or Boot Slides, probably from the 1930s or 1940s. They are made of plated brass and one is marked "Patent".
Jockeys were used to help pull up tight fitting riding boots. The metal lip was placed over the top of the boot with the curved metal inside against your leg.
    Condition:
The boot slides are in good condition. The silver (nickel?) finish is rubbed in places with the brass showing through. One slide has the initials J.B. scratched into the metal (see close-up photo).
    SHIPPING:
.75 for s/h in the US -- Delivery Confirmation "tracking" is included. International shipping will cost more (please ask before bidding).
We usually ship 2x a week, Tuesdays and Fridays.
Buyers from WA state and many other states will have to pay their state's Sales Tax -- the tax is automatically collected by ebay and not sent to the seller.
    International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
    Thanks for stopping by!
