    Vintage Codd’s Bottle Star Brand 8 ounce Soda Bottle with Cobalt Blue Marble.
    The bottle has a star and the words star brand as well as the words super strong. The bottom of the bottle is marked 8 oz, GH, 4, has 3 lines, and a heart.
    This bottle design is an invention of Hirman Codd in 1873. The bottle is filled upside down and as the carbonation from the soda enters the bottle, the glass ball is pushed to the top.
