Estate sale find, vintage original Aloha Beach Club on the Shore of Lake Elsinore certificate issued to Miss Ruth F. Belcher in 1935.
The Aloha Pier was constructed in 1926 by the Clevelin Development Co., which also built the Country Club Heights housing development.
The pier stretched into the lake from its northern shore from a spot along Lakeshore Drive, not far south of the intersection with Riverside Drive.  It included swings and other play equipment for children and the site also included a pavilion where an orchestra played and dances were held on weekends.
The name “Aloha” was apparently a reference to the Aloha Yacht Club, adjacent to the pier. In October 1927 the club sponsored the largest speedboat meeting in Southern California.
The era of summertime leisure at Aloha Pier came to an end in 1950 when the structure was torn down.
Product dimensions: approximately 12.25" X 14.5", shipping weight: 4 ounces.
